Low-temperature insulation from ISOPARTNER Netherlands
For many years, ISOPARTNER Netherlands has offered a wide range of insulation materials for low-temperature insulation in industrial plants and building technology. We talk about low-temperature insulation when the medium temperature (e.g. the temperature of a pipe) is lower than the ambient temperature.
The range consists of own products and products of well-known insulation manufacturers such as Rockwool, Paroc, Isover, Armacell, Kaimann and others. In addition, ISOPARTNER Netherlands also specialises in supplying customised products.
Why use low-temperature insulation?
Pipes, containers and all the various plant components require professional insulation. Optimal insulation ensures that the substances transported in the installation components are transported at the desired temperature and arrive at the consumer with as little loss as possible.
Rely on the expertise of ISOPARTNER Netherlands. We will be happy to advise you. Correct installation of the right products helps avoid any minor non-system application or damage to the vapour control layer. Among other things, this can cause significant ice formation. These defects can not only compromise the process and affect product quality, but can also cause energy and evaporation losses or unwanted pipe corrosion.
Applications in HVAC, freezing rooms, drain lines, industrial installations with liquid oxygen or nitrogen
Low-temperature insulation is used in many industries: from insulating HVAC installations to insulating drain pipes or freezer rooms. Liquefying, storing and transporting cryogenic substances such as LNG (-160°C) or LPG require even more powerful insulation systems. When designing, manufacturing or installing low-temperature insulation systems, parameters such as thermal stresses, vibrations and safety features are taken into account.
Multilayer low-temperature insulation
For large industrial plants with liquid oxygen (-183°C) and liquid nitrogen (-196°C), ISOPARTNER Nederland offers multilayer insulation systems. For example, the insulation and lining of liquid oxygen vessels or pipes must be absolutely grease-free to prevent any risk of spontaneous ignition. Multilayer structures are often composed of different insulation materials, protective layers and at least one or more vapour control layers to ensure proper performance. Materials such as Polyisocyanurate (PIR) and Polyurethane (PUR) rigid foam or Foamglas, can be used in these layers and, for protection, a finishing layer of, for example, stainless steel, aluminised steel or UV-hardened GRP can be applied.
Customised low-temperature insulation solutions
Technical environments often place special requirements on insulation products. Besides the right thermal insulation value, resistance to chemicals and resistance to low temperatures play a major role. Besides standard products, ISOPARTNER Netherlands also supplies and produces customised parts, such as our prefabricated bends or complete systems for industrial applications of low-temperature insulation. You can always rely on the expertise of our advisors.
